Position Purpose
The Talent Acquisition Intern supports workforce planning, talent acquisition, and recruitment process improvement initiatives across BAC. This role partners with HR, Talent Acquisition, Operations, and Technology teams to develop workforce planning solutions, support talent attraction strategies, and contribute to projects that enhance hiring effectiveness and operational staffing decisions.
Principal Accountabilities
- Support the design and implementation of a workforce planning automation tool to improve staffing forecasts and decision-making across operations sites.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and research to identify workforce planning needs, metrics, and reporting requirements.
- Partner with HR, Operations, and Technology teams to support project execution and system development.
- Assist with data analysis, reporting, and workforce planning initiatives.
- Support change management activities, including training, communication, and user adoption efforts.
- Research HR technologies, automation tools, and industry best practices to drive process improvement.
- Assist with recruitment marketing initiatives focused on attracting skilled trades talent.
- Create presentations, documentation, and project updates for key stakeholders.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee, candidate, and company information.
Nature and Scope
The Talent Acquisition Intern will report to Sr. TA Specialist and work closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, Operations, and Technology teams to support strategic workforce planning and recruiting initiatives. The role is project-focused and involves gathering requirements, conducting research, analyzing data, and supporting implementation efforts. This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but requires effective collaboration, strong organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
Knowledge and Skills
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree from an accredited university.
- Preferred fields of study include Human Resources, Business, Marketing, Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Working Conditions

BAC Hiring Compensation Range $22 - $28 per hour.
BAC provides additional earnings in the form of overtime as applicable under law.
