About the Role  

The Talent Acquisition Associate (TAA) is based in Singapore and a key member of the Singapore Talent Team. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead, the TAA is responsible for building strong relationships with Hiring Managers, proactively sourcing top talent, and maintaining a strong recruiting pipeline. A small portion of time will go towards providing administrative support to the Talent Director. This person is both a talent advocate and Ogilvy brand ambassador and should also demonstrate the ability to provide excellent candidate experience while effectively meeting the company’s talent and resourcing needs.

What You’ll Do 

Primary Responsilbility:

Talent Acquisition

  • Handle end-to-end recruitment activities to deliver exceptional candidate-and-hiring-leader experience throughout the process: includes job posting, talent sourcing/pre-screening/assessment/interview, coordination and facilitation of interviews with hiring managers and candidates, offer management, and supporting the Talent Operations Team with the onboarding process for the selected candidate.
  • Comprehensive sourcing and talent pipelining for recruitment across junior to mid-level roles, via various recruitment platforms.
  • Matching applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with Hiring Managers and evaluating applicants on a consistent set of criteria.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Operations Team to ensure a streamlined recruitment service experience and adherence to onboarding processes.
  • Strengthen relationships with business leaders and key partners by proactively recruiting in key areas of our business and converting top, diverse talent into hires.
  • Maintain accurate candidate data in Greenhouse, our Applicant Tracking System, on a real time basis.
  • Support the Talent Acquisition Team’s school engagement activities for the recruitment of junior talent.
  • Support the Talent Acquisition Lead to stay abreast of market insights and industry trends and practices, and to build talent pipelines for the various Business Units.
  • Assist with other TA-related projects and initiatives, when required.

Secondary Responsibility:

Personal Assistant to Talent Director (max. at 10% of time)

  • Manage and maintain the Talent Director’s calendar (e.g.: scheduling of appointments / meetings), ensuring that meetings are organized and updated into the diary in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including booking flights and hotels, visa management etc.
  • Timesheets submission on a weekly basis in Maconomy system.
  • Expenses/claims submission in Maconomy system.

What You’ll Need  

  • At least 6 months to 1 year of proven experience in a Talent Acquisition or similar role in-house or in a recruitment agency.
  • Knowledge of recruitment practices, relevant job markets and research processes.
  • Experience in the Advertising and PR industries would be advantageous.
  • Excellent relationship management skills, with the willingness to effectively engage with senior hiring leaders.
  • Experience in using LinkedIn Recruiter, Applicant Tracking Systems (particularly Greenhouse), and other recruitment tools/technologies/platforms would be advantageous.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills. A problem solver who can adapt to various situations and working styles.
  • Strong project and process management skills, with a sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize and execute multiple projects/tasks at the same time under strict timelines.
  • A genuine care for people and their employee experience.
