Your Impact
As an Accounting Assistant, you’ll join an established and fast-paced environment to work within our accounting team to support various projects and activities on a daily basis.
You will enjoy the opportunity to excel and progress professionally and work together with a talented team.
The successful candidate will be based in Athens and report to Tailwind’s Senior Accounting Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute various Bookkeeping and Accounting postings
- Take responsibility for monthly invoicing and revenue reconciliation
- Conduct GL Account Reconciliations
- Aid in the preparation of VIES and VAT
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Provide responses to queries for information and access relevant files
Calculate monthly provisions and accruals - Engage in departmental projects as a participant
We’re looking for someone who
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. Additional computer training or certification is advantageous
- Demonstrates 2-4 years of professional experience in accounting
- Exhibits proficiency in MS Office and data programs
- Pays meticulous attention to detail and demonstrate strong analytical skills
- Commits to maintaining confidentiality
- Collaborates as a team player, self-motivate, and take ownership of tasks
- Communicates effectively with an excellent command of the English language
