Full technical responsibility for identification, coordination, preparation, and approval of safe work boundaries for operations and maintenance activities at and associated substation. Serve as a technical resource and advisor to maintenance, operations, projects, and work planning organization. Provide technical expertise for the creation and maintenance of fleet procedures associated with the lockout / tagout programs. Prepare and approve isolations to support outage milestones and on-line Key Performance Indicators. Ensure isolations are conducted in accordance with Fleet procedures. Champion isolation process improvements as needed. Provide technical support for outage activities. Additional responsibilities include serving as Operations Management representative at work request screening, work preparation readiness meetings, department tagging meetings, site tagging committee, and Emergency Response Organization as applicable.
Essential Responsibilities

  • Technical responsibility for identification, coordination, preparation, and approval of safe work boundaries.

  • Provide technical support for outage activities including procedure revisions, outage window development, and scheduling coordination.

  • Support project planning and completion by providing relevant information to project planners to ensure that proper isolations are developed for meeting project milestones.

  • Act as liaison between maintenance, operations, projects, and work planning organization to ensure open communication and maximize available resources to ensure peak operational performance and execution of outage and on-line work.

  • Serve as operations management representative at work request screening, work preparation readiness meetings, department tagging meetings and site tagging committee

  • Maintain an active position/role in the emergency response organization.

  • Support the maintenance and development of Fleet and Site-specific procedures as required.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics or equivalent experience in operating of electric generating facility, preferably nuclear.

  • 4-6 years of experience in electric power production, preferably nuclear.

  • Current or previous SRO, RO or Certification desired, but not required.

Non-Bargaining

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $92,300.00 to $130,566.00 per year
