Position Summary:

Role & Responsibilities:
Solution Engineering, Design, and Integration
- Design and engineer custom, mission-specific telecommunications solutions that meeting the unique power, space and environmental constraints of the client's platforms.
- Integrate various hardware and software components into cohesive, interoperable systems. This includes integrating new technologies with legacy systems.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive system design documentation, network diagrams, change logs and configuration guides for all developed solutions
- Deploy contractor personnel and engineered solutions to designated operational locations worldwide, on short notice as required.
- Operate and manage deployed systems to ensure maximum uptime and performance during critical incidents.
- Provide 24/7/365 operation support for active missions as required.
- Developed detailed communications plans for upcoming missions and deployments.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on all managed systems and equipment, both at home stations and in deployed locations.
- Manage equipment lifecycle, including technology refreshment, inventory tracking, and logistics.
Core Technical Capabilities
- Satellite Communications (SATCOM): Deploy, operate and maintain SATCOM terminals and systems to support high-availability voice and data transmissions.
- Radio Communications: Engineer and deploy commercial and tactical radio systems, including Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems and High-Frequency (HF) radios.
- MESH/MANET Networks: Design, deploy, and manage Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks (MANET) and MESH networking solutions to provide resilient, self-healing data networks in dynamic environments.
- Encryption and Security: Manage, configure, secure and maintain a variety of type 1 and 3 or commercial encryption devices and systems to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of all communications.
- Network Infrastructure: Install, configure, and manage network routing, switching, and security infrastructure for both wired and wireless networks.
- Software and applications support: Install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain commercial and government operating systems and software solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Completion of a civilian electronic technician training course and/or DOD component telecommunications school.
- Minimum of five (5) years civilian telecommunications or electronic technician experience and/or a minimum of three (3) years military experience as a telecommunication operator/maintainer or electronic technician.
- Ability to lift and carry communications equipment up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to climb on or under small or large vehicles.
- Ability to work in inclement weather conditions.
- Ability to works at heights more than 20ft.
- The work involved requires physical activity such as walking, climbing, bending, or stooping during field surveys and inspections.
- Ability to deploy for extended periods of time nationally and/or internationally. Must be placed on a roster for no-notice deployments and be able to respond within 1 hour of notification.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently.
