Tyson & Mendes is a national insurance defense law firm with 28 locations. As a Tableau Developer, this candidate will be responsible for the development and management of data visualization solutions created to enhance business processes and drive data driven decisions. This role reports to the Director of Data Visualization.
Who We're Looking For…
- Design, develop and conduct unit testing, and maintain complex Tableau reports for scalability, manageability, extensibility, performance, and re-use
- Provide technical expertise in areas of architecture, design, and implementation
- Determine the best implementation that will meet the design of the architect
- Work with team members to create useful reports and dashboards that provide insight, improve/automate processes, or otherwise add value to the team
- Work through iterative review cycles to deliver results that meet or exceed user expectations
- Ensure consistency by adhering to a set of software coding and style guides
- Resolve support related issues with existing Tableau reports
- Ability to query and display large data sets while maximizing the performance of the workbook
- Ability to interpret technical or dashboard structures and translate complex business requirements to technical specifications
- Meet departmental KPIs and metrics as provided
- Communicate effectively with attorneys and staff at all levels of the organization
- Provide white-glove support for all users
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of Tableau development experience
- Advanced Tableau development skills
- Advanced proficiency with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep, Tableau Cloud Environment
- Working knowledge of Tableau administrator/architecture
- Understanding of advanced calculations and statistical functions
- A solid understanding of SQL, relational database management system, data modeling, and normalization
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail and accuracy while working collaboratively
- Data visualization and analytical thinking
- Ability to work on multiple projects at a time and also be a Project Management
Compensation Package
- The hourly pay range of $42 - 46/hour, depending on experience
- Overtime paid at 1.5× the regular hourly rate, as needed
- Comprehensive benefits coverage offered, including plans available at zero employee cost (average annual employee contribution for health/vision/dental coverage is $700-1,700)
