We are seeking an experienced Tableau Developer with deep expertise in Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance systems. The candidate will be responsible for creating computer systems and data visualization solutions to improve business processes. This role will include tasks such as generating Tableau dashboard reports, creating business intelligence reports and visualizations, and work with developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop interactive executive dashboards using Tableau — with a strong focus on CXO-level summary reports that communicate complex data clearly and concisely to senior leadership.
- Design and implement data models to support business intelligence initiatives — translating business requirements into scalable, governed data structures.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes using Snowflake or other data integration tools — ensuring accurate, reliable, and timely data flows into BI layers.
- Create and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation — supporting both operational reporting and analytical use cases.
- Collaborate across the full engagement lifecycle — working with data engineers, business analysts, and operations teams from technical analysis through design, development, and implementation.
- Incorporate data governance and access controls in Tableau — ensuring reports meet compliance requirements and data access is appropriately managed.
- Facilitate solution design workshops and group meetings of various sizes for problem-solving, decision-making, and implementation planning.
- Provide plans and estimates for reporting initiatives — scoping effort, timelines, and dependencies for analytics delivery.
- Deliver data-driven insights to support strategic and operational business decision-making through compelling data storytelling.
Requirements
- Advanced Tableau expertise: Tableau Desktop and Server platforms — complex calculations, LOD expressions, action filters, data blending, sets, maps, and Tableau Prep.
- Executive reporting experience: proven track record designing CXO-level summary reports and dashboards for senior leadership with clear visual narratives.
- Visual design expertise: strong understanding of dashboard design best practices, UX principles, and the ability to design custom landing pages on Tableau Server.
- Snowflake & ETL proficiency: hands-on experience with Snowflake or equivalent data integration platforms for building and managing ETL pipelines.
- Advanced SQL skills: writing, optimizing, and debugging complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting layers.
- Tableau Server performance optimization: experience tuning dashboard performance, managing extracts, and maintaining Tableau Server environments at scale.
- End-to-end Tableau testing: validating dashboards for data accuracy, feature functionality, and visual fidelity before production deployment.
- Data storytelling & communication: excellent oral and written communication skills — ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Agile delivery experience: comfortable working in sprint-based environments with rapid prototyping, iterative delivery, and evolving requirements.
