Tableau Developer (Enterprise BI & Dashboard Expert)

Job Description: Synechron is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Tableau Developer with a strong background in enterprise BI development and data analytics. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing enterprise-scale solutions, developing and managing dashboards and reports in Tableau, and mentoring team members. This role involves working under pressure, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality BI solutions.

Software Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise BI development.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop (dashboard creation, report authoring, troubleshooting, data source management).
• Strong experience in data mart/data warehouse design.
• Proficiency in analytics and database querying tools.
• In-depth knowledge of RDBMS systems, Business Intelligence, and data analytics.

Overall Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale BI solutions.
• Develop, manage, and enhance dashboards and reports in Tableau.
• Perform and document data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design.
• Manage and implement multiple projects simultaneously using project management techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and deliver high-quality BI solutions.
• Mentor and guide team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Forecast and predict trends and insights using past and current data.
• Build visually rich and interactive dashboards.

Technical Skills (Category-wise):

• Primary Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop (dashboard creation, report authoring, troubleshooting, data source management).
  • Experience in data mart/data warehouse design.
  • Proficiency in analytics and database querying tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of RDBMS systems, Business Intelligence, and data analytics.
• Secondary Skills:
  • Ability to manipulate and blend data to design dashboards and visualizations.
  • Working knowledge of project management techniques/methods.

Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise BI development and database design and management.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop.

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Lead the development and implementation of BI solutions using Tableau.
• Develop and manage dashboards and reports in Tableau.
• Perform data analysis, validation, and mapping/design.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
• Mentor and guide team members.
• Forecast trends and insights using data analysis.
• Build visually rich and interactive dashboards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in Tableau and BI development (preferred).
