Tableau Developer - (Contract, 1099)
Duration: 10-12 weeks
We are seeking an experienced Tableau Developer with 5+ years of expertise to help build three interactive and impactful dashboards from existing datasets. This contract position offers a dynamic opportunity for a skilled developer to leverage their Tableau knowledge and create visualizations that will drive data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop 3 Interactive Dashboards: Design and implement visually appealing and user-friendly Tableau dashboards from provided datasets.
- Data Analysis: Work with existing data, ensuring accuracy and relevance in the dashboards.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Understand business needs and incorporate feedback into the dashboard design to meet stakeholder requirements.
- Optimization: Ensure dashboards are optimized for performance, scalability, and ease of use.
- Documentation & Reporting: Provide clear documentation on the dashboards and how to use them, as well as offer recommendations for future improvements.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Tableau development, including experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
- Strong Knowledge of data visualization best practices and data storytelling.
- Proficiency in working with various data sources (SQL, Excel, etc.) to integrate and visualize data.
- Experience in creating high-performance, interactive dashboards that are easy to use and visually compelling.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Work Environment:
- Remote work from home.
- Hours of work and days are generally Monday through Friday. Specific business hours will depend on client needs.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- The person in this position must occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, library stacks, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and printer.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with clients and coworkers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
