TITLE: TA & People Resources Business Partner
LOCATION: New York City (hybrid) or Fully Remote in the United States working Eastern Time
SALARY: $90,000 - $110,000 (based on NYC, will be adjusted for geo)
The Role:
Reporting to the Director of TA and Compensation and working closely with the VP of People, the TA & People Business Partner will own a 50/50 blend of recruiting and people resources responsibilities, with the heavier emphasis on what the business needs day to day, month to month and quarter over quarter.
What You'll Do:
Top TA Responsibilities:
- Own full life cycle recruiting across multiple departments, including screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and extending and closing offers
- Work closely with hiring managers to build relationships, define requirements and develop job descriptions in alignment with company needs and values
- Source candidates using recruiting tools including LinkedIn Recruiter
- Maintain and help improve our ATS usage (TeamTailor)
- Partner with the People team on major team initiatives and projects
Top People BP Responsibilities:
- Serve as a consultative partner to people managers and employees across the organization. Conduct regular ongoing meetings with your client group to offer People Resources advice. Imperative to know the pulse of the client groups you support and make recommendations for improvements where/when needed.
- Oversee all employee relations, disciplinary matters, and performance management as the People Business Partner for your assigned client group. Identify and address performance opportunities/issues through coaching, counseling, and disciplinary action when necessary.
- Partner with the Head of People and Director of Compensation on career pathing tools, resources, and development plans for the client group you support.
- Build manager capability on handling concerns in partnership with the Head of People.
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years in talent acquisition owning full lifecycle recruiting
- 1+ years in a generalist or business partner capacity
- Experience in fast-paced startups - motivated by moving quickly while delivering quality work
- Proficiency with ATS and HRIS systems
- Able to seamlessly switch between working highly independently and highly collaboratively as needed across different contexts
Preferred:
- Experience in a blended role owning both talent acquisition and HR responsibilities
