Position Responsibilities

  • Apply advanced engineering and systems knowledge to support the development of complex automotive systems across multiple technical domains.
  • Lead the definition, analysis, documentation, and validation of system level and software requirements, ensuring technical accuracy, feasibility, and alignment with overall vehicle architecture and business objectives.
  • Manage requirements development activities across multiple automotive domains, including coordinating requirement decomposition and alignment across subsystems.
  • Ensure all requirements are clear, complete, testable, traceable, and compliant with internal engineering standards and project goals.
  • Collaborate closely with system engineering, software engineering, hardware engineering, and validation teams throughout the full product development lifecycle.
  • Perform requirement impact analysis and support change management processes to assess and control the technical implications of evolving system requirements.
  • Establish and maintain end to end traceability between stakeholder needs, system requirements, software requirements, and verification artifacts.
  • Drive best practices in requirements engineering by providing technical guidance and supporting continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Interface with internal stakeholders to clarify technical expectations, identify gaps or inconsistencies, and support engineering decision making.
  • Travel and/or Relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. required. The purpose of travel and/or relocation would be to work with clients on projects. The frequency of travel and/or relocation will be determined by the needs of clients.
  • Apply knowledge of the following: Electrified Powertrain System Engineering, DFMEA.

Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience. One (1) year experience must have included: Electrified Powertrain System Engineering, DFMEA.

Travel and/or Relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. required. The purpose of travel and/or relocation would be to work with clients on projects. The frequency of travel and/or relocation will be determined by the needs of clients.

Location: Troy, MI

Salary: $132,267.00
