The Role
The specialist will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing container infrastructures within the organization. With a combination of advanced OpenShift/k8s technical knowledge and leadership skills, this professional will contribute to the operational efficiency, security and scalability of applications deployed in commercial container environments.
Not only will you be responsible for ensuring the security of our computer systems, but you'll also work closely with other IT professionals to design and implement cutting-edge technology that keeps Kyndryl ahead of the curve.
As a leader in this field, you'll also be expected to conduct RCA discussions for the products you work on and provide ongoing technical and operational guidance to lead professional work teams. You may even manage departments on a national or international level, defining objectives and managing resources to ensure the success of your projects.
Your expertise will be crucial in influencing people outside of your department or function, and you'll have the opportunity to directly shape the technology landscape of the world we live in. Required Skills and Experience
3-6 years
- OpenShift: In-depth experience in installing, configuring and managing OpenShift clusters.
- Kubernetes: Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, understanding its architecture and underlying components.
- Docker: Advanced Docker container management, image creation and optimization.
- CI/CD: Experience in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines in OpenShift environments.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Knowledge of tools such as Terraform, Ansible or similar for infrastructure automation.
- Networks in OpenShift: Configuration of networks, services, Routes/Ingress and Network Policies in OpenShift.
- Security: Implementation of robust security practices, including RBAC, secret management and vulnerability scanning.
- Monitoring and Logging: Configuration and management of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack or similar
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS)
