What you will be doing

This position is for a remote Systems Programmer Senior who would be working with high performance teams.

What you bring:

Knowledge / Experience

• Advanced knowledge in an IBM iSeries (AS400) environment.
• Basic knowledge in Windows applications & Windows Systems knowledge.
• Exposure on working on Incident tickets, Problem tickets, Change tickets and Request Tickets
• Application Change assessment and validation during change windows over the week and weekend.
• Monitors operations to ensure adherence to service level standards and company/department policies and procedures.
• Ensures professional and courteous support services are delivered to promote a productive and positive relationship with end users.
• Must be detail-oriented and customer-driven, focusing on providing the highest quality services to internal customers.
• Other related duties assigned as needed.

Skills

• Advanced knowledge of IBM iSeries (AS400) servers (required)
• Basic Windows Server functionalities.
• IBM MQ, BRMS, HMC, VIOS, SAN storage, and Advanced Job Scheduler (preferred)
• ServiceNow

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
