Systems Intern 

Hybrid - LOCAL to Washington, D.C. metro area (Reston, VA)

Timeframe:  Spring 2025; 20 hours or less/week

 About our Internship Program

Our internship provides opportunities to grow your technical skills and collaborate with interns from a variety of backgrounds, which mimic our project teams.  This is a 10-week, intensive, fully paid internship with the opportunity to work on solutions that propel our customers’ missions forward.  As an intern you will also have access to training sessions, networking and social events, and mentorship.

What you’ll do:

• Deliver and support of hardware, software and online technology services to both local and remote personnel
• Meet with stakeholders within the organization to capture the needs of various internal business units
• Apply knowledge gained during coursework to research and develop solutions to real-world challenges
• Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution to effectively solve problems
• Support a productive and innovative team, this includes working with peers, managers, and other teams in both group and independent sessions

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Target completion of a bachelor’s degree by May 2025
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members
• Coursework toward a degree in Information Systems, Cyber Security or Computer Science
• Experience with the Microsoft suite or comparable digital tools
• Experience troubleshooting desktop or laptop, hardware and software issues
• Experience with Microsoft cloud services
• Ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret security clearance or above
