In Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions, we provide next-generation threat detection and countermeasure solutions to provide unparalleled electronic warfare capabilities to enhance mission survivability. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. This position is based out of our Hudson, NH facilities.
BAE Systems is seeking a highly motivated engineer to support the development and sustainment of the System Integration Laboratories (SILs) supporting our EA-37B Compass Call programs. This role requires a process oriented, hands-on engineer, with a strong focus on risk mitigation and execution. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Team member for sustaining both Mini-SILs and Full System Integration Labs for a variety of compass call programs.
  • Support the entire lab lifecycle: encompassing procurement, installation/build, integration, testing, and transition to operational status. This includes meticulous attention to detail to ensure timely material ordering and installation.
  • Follow a disciplined design process to ensure accurate and complete Bills of Materials (BOMs) are generated and maintained as a single source of truth.
  • Test, troubleshoot and maintain RF electronics, communications systems and support equipment.
  • Collaborate closely with Systems Engineering, Hardware, and Software Development teams throughout all phases.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks and opportunities impacting the lab build and operation.
  • Timely reporting and tracking of critical issues as they arise.
  • Coordinate the work of technicians and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution of tasks.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Active DoD TS Clearance and eligible to acquire SCI clearance.
  • Associate's degree in an engineering field with 4+ years of experience or 8+ years of engineering and technical experience.
  • Experience with RF, Radar, and Electronic Warfare.
  • Experience performing engineering activities including simulation, integration & test, and equipment maintenance and calibration.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Experience in performing hardware, software and systems integration and testing.
  • Experience with issue tracking systems (JIRA), root cause analysis, .
  • Team player with proactive attitude and the ability to be productive in a dynamic/collaborative environment.
  • Ability to multitask across several programs.
  • Ability to read and markup mechanical and electrical drawings

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering field with 6+ years of experience.
  • Currently holds Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
  • Experience with test plans, procedures, schedules and reports in accordance with program and system requirements.
  • Proficiency with Agile management tools (e.g., Jira, etc.).
  • Model based systems engineering principles with tools such as MagicDraw.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $118095 - $200762
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
