Key Responsibilities
- Provide systems engineering support to integrate multi-domain targeting systems including JADOCS, AFATDS, DCGS-A, and CPCE
- Design, install, configure, and maintain virtualized environments for tactical applications using VMware, Cisco and NetApp technologies
- Define and capture operational requirements to inform rapid prototyping, software development, and test plans
- Lead system evaluations and support data exchanges across joint and coalition networks (e.g., Link-16, MIDB, SATCOM)
- Develop and deliver technical and operational training
- Provide subject matter expertise to support targeting, sensor-to-shooter enhancements, and MDO/JADO objectives
- Author and maintain technical documentation, architecture, test results, and use-case scenarios for lab and operational settings
- Serve as the technical liaison between the government engineering team, vendor, and end-user organizations
Required Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience in DoD C2 and targeting systems integration (e.g., JADOCS, AFATDS, CPCE)
- Experience with tactical radios
- Experience with Starlink/Starshield
- Satcom X,C, Ka, Ku band
- Experience with Army network ports and protocols
- CompTIA certifications (Security+, Network+, A+), VMware training/certification, or Microsoft Server experience
- Proven experience designing, deploying, and supporting tactical virtualized systems in classified environments
- Demonstrated ability to translate operational needs into software/hardware integration requirements
- Strong background supporting developmental test events, targeting exercises, and rapid fielding activities
- Excellent communication skills with ability to brief stakeholders, train users, and document complex systems
- BS/BA degree in Information Technology or related field
- Active TS/SCI Clearance is required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting Army Ground Station initiatives
- Familiarity with Joint Targeting Standards and national-level data ingestion
- Background in rapid prototyping or R&D environments
- Experience with Kubernetes and container-based environments
- Prior service in senior military roles supporting Fires, Intel, or C2 functions
- CCNA Certification
- Relevant military technical training
