Your Mission
Join a highly skilled team managing enterprise computer systems and networks, ensuring daily operations run smoothly. You’ll analyze technical issues, develop and implement corrective actions, and translate user needs into technical solutions. Your work will include monitoring system and network health, integrating new technologies, and implementing security best practices.
You Will Excel in This Role If You Are:
- Experienced in network or system administration with a strong Linux background
- Proficient in system/network administration, application administration, or IT support/management
- Comfortable with hardware installation, including servers and network infrastructure
- Skilled in setting up and managing network-attached storage solutions
- Knowledgeable in security best practices, including PKI certificate generation, deployment, and maintenance
- Familiar with Unix shell scripting (Bash, Bourne, or C)
A Day in the Life Of:
- Managing and maintaining enterprise computer systems and networks
- Troubleshooting system and network performance issues
- Translating user requests into technical diagnoses and solutions
- Developing strategies to migrate existing customers to new architectures with minimal impact
- Evaluating and integrating new technologies into standard agency solutions
Must Haves:
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of relevant experience (or equivalent)
- Information Assurance Manager (IAM) Tier 1 certification
- Experience in network or system administration
- Strong Linux experience
- Experience with systems/network administration, application administration, and IT support
- Hardware installation experience (servers, network infrastructure, storage solutions)
- Knowledge of security best practices and PKI certificate management
- Unix shell scripting proficiency (Bash, Bourne, or C)
Nice to Have:
- Experience deploying and maintaining nginx
- Familiarity with Docker and RedHat Satellite
- Experience with cloud computing environments like AWS
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, SALT, and Ansible
- Experience with system monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Grafana
- Familiarity with SELinux and FIPS
