Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • To be part of a team which specialize in Technical Proposal & Engineering support for Telecom and Industrial Security Systems 
  • Review and understand the telecom and Security systems RFP’s (Customer bid/tender) and prepare the Technical proposal including Bill of Materials and Architecture. Capable to stitch an integrated solution is must
  • Responsible to evaluate different Vendor BOM and solutions, discuss with various vendors and arrive at a solution that best fits the project requirement
  • Proactive and Communicate with all Stakeholder’s in a timely manner to finalize the solution
  • Holistic review of the solution to reduce the cost
  • Responsible to deliver technical proposals/ Design/ Engineering on time within agreed schedule
  • To work on multiple RFP’s in parallel.
  • Work closely with all the global Proposal & Estimation team
  • Collaborate with the Business development team for new solutions, vendor evaluation, creating test set-up, witnessing and approving products.
  • Extensively use engineering tools for optimizing design (e.g. CCTV, PAGA, Radio coverage study.
  • Need to travel for performing FAT, witness third party systems testing and support engineers during installation & commissioning
  • To design and carryout detailed Engineering for Radio System (VHF Marine, VHF Aeronautical, UHF Operational, VSAT Communications System)


Technical Skills:

Should have minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience in:

  • Industrial projects – Radio System, Networking, IP Telephones, Access Controls, CCTV, PAGA, RADAR and Passive system hands on for Design and Engineering.
  • Radio System in-depth Design and Engineering knowledge ( (VHF Marine, VHF Aeronautical, UHF Operational, VSAT Communications System) 
  • In addition to Radio skills additional knowledge on TSI designing systems like PIDS, RTLS, Entertainment System, CCTV, ACS, PAGA, Radar, SONAR etc., are added advantage
  • Knowledge on Control room design and ATEX system are required
  • Atleast 2-3 years of site commissioning experience of the Industrial Telecom & Security solutions with Radio System commissioning.
  • Product certificates (Radio, Network), CCNA – added advantage

Behavioral Skills:

  • Passion for learning new systems 
  • Team player with Good command on oral + written communication in English.
  • Strong ability to work as team player and acquire/share technical skills and competencies.
  • Customer/Vendor/Factory interaction capabilities (Stakeholder management)
Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (BE/B Tech – Telecommunication/ Instrumentation/ Electronics).
