They use our solutions for a wide range of applications like predictive maintenance, workflow optimization, asset protection, safety, security, and environmental monitoring. We are a unicorn, funded by top investors like Kleiner Perkins and 8VC.

Our executive leadership team has experience working together for over two decades, having previously held key roles in the C-suites of renowned companies such as Flextronics, Heptagon, GT-Nexus, and Digital Motors Corporation. Together, we have engineered a revolutionary technology that is yielding extraordinary results.

Are you ready to be a part of the next chapter in Silicon Valley's hyper-growth IoT success story?

Summary: We are looking for a Robotics & Embedded Systems Engineer to build full-stack hardware/firmware systems for customers delivering intelligent, automated technology solutions. You will oversee the integration of sensors, actuators, and control systems, exercise part validation, and manage the product lifecycle from prototype to mass production.

Location: Onsite (Full-Time)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • System Architecture & Robotics Integration: Partner with electrical engineers to select components based on system needs, specifically focusing on microcontrollers (MCUs), motor drivers, actuators, and power management units.
  • Hardware Bring-up: Bring up new hardware platforms, debugging standard interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART) as well as robotics-critical protocols (CAN Bus, EtherCAT, RS-485) to ensure reliable connectivity.
  • Firmware & Control Logic: Develop low-level drivers and firmware. Design and implement robust Finite State Machines (FSM) to manage system behavior and safety states. Implement and tune control loops (PID) for motion control.
  • Power & Efficiency: Design protocols to optimize energy consumption for battery-powered mobile systems and sensors.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to integrate hardware with high-level robotics stacks (e.g., navigation, computer vision).
  • Testing & Validation: Design automated test fixtures for electro-mechanical sub-systems. Validate design integrity under dynamic conditions (vibration, thermal).

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
  • Programming: Solid C/C++ programming skills with a strong understanding of memory management and real-time constraints.
  • Experience: 4+ years working in bare metal and RTOS-based systems (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, etc.).
  • Robotics & Actuation: Hands-on experience with motor control (BLDC, Steppers, Servos) and integrating complex sensors (IMUs, Encoders, LiDAR).
  • Protocols: Competence in BLE, LoRa, or LTE, plus industrial standards (CAN, Modbus).
  • Debugging: Skilled with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and power analyzers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ROS/ROS2 (Robot Operating System).
  • Knowledge of Control Theory (PID, Kalman Filters).
  • Experience with edge-AI platforms (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson).
