What you will need (basic qualifications)
- Experience in IP networking and protocols; IP network security policies, practices and secure network transport practices: experience in using network analysis tools such as Nmap and Wireshark.
- Experience in use of network security technologies such as firewalls, proxies, iptables, AV solutions, VPN’s, IDS/IPS, etc.
- Experience with cyber operations and/or cyber security and related technology, including defensive methodologies and offensive operational security.
- Understanding in cloud computing platform technology such as AWS, Azure, Google, cloud computing environment and cloud security.
- Understanding of system Operating Systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux, Mac OS, Mobile OS) and how servers/clients are built and secured.
Nice to haves (preferred)
- Familiarity with the client's covert comms technologies and mis-attributable internet system designs.
- Ability to research, analyze, prioritize, problem solve, synthesize large amounts of data/information, and to work several tasks concurrently with minimum supervision
- Excellent interpersonal skills, sound judgment and good administrative and organizational skills.
- Ability to interact and communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds and be able to convey technical information to non-technical individuals
- Ability to draft assessment reports and memorandums to convey technical risk and recommendations to non-technical individuals
An active TS/SCI clearance w/polygraph is required
