Job Description- Manage network topologies and cabling.
- Administration of firewalls and their configuration.
- Administration of periodic firmware and software upgrades of network infrastructure.
- Monitor network infrastructure performance.
- Automate the process using scripting and/or infrastructure as a code where possible.
- Write/Update/Review documentation and technical specifications related to infrastructure.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues
- Identify hardware, software and network problems and propose solutions.
- Perform regular maintenance on hardware, network, and software components.
- Communicate effectively with the ICT team.
- Administration of reverse proxy and load balancer equipment services.
- Occasional travel to various client's locations to support the ICT team
Additional non-mandatory tasks could be:
- take part in designing and implementing solutions for replication & disaster recovery.
- utilize configuration management frameworks.
- implement infrastructure as a code.
- operate and support network equipment.
- implementation of software-defined networking.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field plus 6 years of relevant experience.
- Working knowledge of English C1 or higher Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (self-assessment).
- Proven experience in network administration, systems engineering, or a similar technical role.
- Proficiency in network infrastructure, including configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Strong knowledge of firewall administration, load balancing, and reverse proxies.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds).
- Knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) principles.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with ICT teams.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
