We're looking for a Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role, The Systems Engineer is responsible for being the intermediary for the SR Systems teams at Koch Companies & Koch Logistics, being the fallback subject matter expert for all systems engineer duties and being the primary cyber security resource for Koch Services. The Systems Engineer will partner with leadership at Koch Logistics and Koch Companies Corporate IT on upgrading and implementing new technologies, processes, and security postures.

Hiring Range: $90,000 - $105,000, commensurate with experience

What You'll Do
• Efficiently and timely complete projects and goals
• Help maintain knowledge base for Koch systems and supported services
• Help create documentation for all processes and equipment
• Assist software in identifying, isolating, and remediating issues with their critical business
functions
• Create tickets in a timely manner with 3rd party vendors or the Koch Services IT team to resolve
any pending issues and keep everyone informed of status
• Collaborate with Koch Services IT to resolve all issues in a timely manner
• Coordinate with clients and/or team members to resolve issues, reduce risk, and enhance user
satisfaction
• Attend in-person meetings and collaborate with the Koch Services IT team
• Monitor the hardware integrity and keep accurate reports to determine life expectancy, monitoring
when warranties and/or licenses expire
• Build, deploy, troubleshoot and maintain all infrastructure servers at various locations
• Backup - maintain, troubleshoot and administer firewalls all location.
• Assist in troubleshooting network issues at all locations
• Constantly work to improve current processes and procedures
• Responsible for administering, maintaining and troubleshooting the Citrix infrastructure
• Assist in network maintenance, upgrades & troubleshooting at various locations
• Participate as a SME for various enterprise software upgrades and installs when necessary
• Manage email services – On premises and cloud for email and filtering
• Manage email security services
• Manage end user security training requirements to include advising IT staff on campaign specifics
• Manage backups with backup software while ensuring best practice methodologies are being utilized

Required Education and Experience
• Associate’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent
experience.
• 7-10+ years’ experience with hardware systems and systems applications
• Very familiar with DNS, TCP/IP configuration and server/systems industry best practices
• 2+ years Cyber Security standards experience
• Security Monitoring & Remediation knowledge
• 3-5+ years firewall knowledge
• 3+ years Citrix knowledge
• 5+ years Microsoft Exchange
• 3-5+ years switching and routing experience
• 3+ years cyber security training administration
Preferred Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Project Management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication via phone, email, and instant message, as well as in
person.
• Ability to independently investigate issues and find solutions with minimal assistance
About the Role
The salary grade for this position ranges from $89,300.00 - $130,400.00. Starting pay within this range will be based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
