At eyesAtop, we accelerate the delivery of the most advanced drones and AI capabilities directly into the hands of warfighters.
Our universal controller lets one operators seamlessly orchestrate multiple drones, shifting risk to machines and keeping soldiers safer while providing superior intelligence and situational awareness.
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Systems Engineer with a passion for multidisciplinary systems in the drone and defense ecosystems. In this role, you will own the system architecture and solve wide and diverse technical challenges. You will act as a leading technical focal point, translating operational requirements into reality and bringing complex systems together.
This is a high-impact role for someone who thinks in big-picture trade-offs and processes, but is equally comfortable getting their hands dirty.
What you'll do
- System Ownership: Serve as the end-to-end owner and architect of hardware-integrated systems, driving the transition from initial concept to operational deployment Ensure robust design, integration, and performance while meeting rigorous defense-grade requirements
- Technical Leadership: Lead the technical strategy and execution across hardware, software, algorithmic, testing, and production domains to ensure cohesive product development
- Hands-on Development & Integration: Drive rapid Proofs-of-Concept (POCs), complex system integrations and failure investigations, getting hands-on to ensure subsystems function seamlessly together
- Balance flexible, agile, and fast-paced development cycles with the discipline required to build reliable, high-grade systems ready for mission-critical deployment
