Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Systems Engineer - Senior to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide technical leadership in the planning, investigation, design, and implementation of physical and virtualized infrastructure systems.
- Design and engineer virtual infrastructure leveraging carious Hypervisors and VDI technologies to include Hyper-V, XenServer, ESXi, and VMWare.
- Design, build, maintain, and support a variety of workstation and server images to include both Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Design, build, maintain, and support automated system patching and software deployment.
- Develop detailed network design diagrams and documentation.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Active Top Secret security clearance with willingness to be submitted for a polygraph upgrade
- Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer and Information Security, Computer Security, and/or Network Administration from an accredited university/college; or a Master's degree in Computer Science or related scientific/technical field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in designing and engineering virtual infrastructure; building and supporting desktop systems using Windows operating systems; and designing workstation and server infrastructures for high latency, low bandwidth networks using satellite or cellular broadband technologies.
- Additional education, training, certifications, or work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree or work experience at the customer's discretion
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Current Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or equivalent level of certification is desired
