As a Systems Engineer in the Robotics Systems Engineering and Marketing (SEM) team, your primary role is to engage with customers and provide system-level solutions that cut across devices, board design and software integration for humanoid robots perception, sensing and edge AI, usually in the form of a reference design, technical collateral or system level test data. Systems engineers will mostly work closely with our sales, and BU partners to demonstrate how our products can be used most efficiently in each customer application. This role may work across product portfolios and businesses or within a business to provide more depth in the perception sensing or Edge AI subsystems.
QualificationsMinimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, ECE, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree
- 5 years of relevant engineering experience
- Experience in system level board design, schematics, layout, testing and validation
- Familiarity with lab equipment
- Schematic and layout review of customer’s application
- Strong technical background, with the ability to produce high quality technical documentation
- Experience with prototype board bring-up
- Strong understanding of analog/embedded processing IC's and their application
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience running, configuring and debugging embedded software and system level reference design
- Ability to modify and adapt example code and firmware to enable system demo and POC solutions
- Experience promoting technical solutions and driving customer engagement and design wins through system-level demo, ref design and technical collateral
- Experience integrating and demonstrating solutions on robotics and edge AI platforms, SDKs and ecosystem such as Nvidia Jetson, Isaac Sim or similar platform
- Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally
- Affinity to think in full system proposals
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
