Seeking a Senior Systems
Engineer to support advanced RF and SIGINT systems. This role involves system
administration, integration, and end-to-end engineering of complex collection
platforms, with a strong emphasis on Linux/Windows environments, networking,
and data flow across distributed systems, including technologies such as DRT,
NiFi, ONEROOF, DARKQUEST, and FORNSAT.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer,
configure, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows systems supporting RF and
collection platforms, including software installation and network
configuration
- Analyze
CONOPS, system architecture, and user requirements to develop and manage
system requirements and specifications
- Lead
system design, integration, and development across hardware and software
components in alignment with DoDAF and SOA frameworks
- Develop
and maintain systems engineering documentation (e.g., SEPs, ICDs,
requirements specs) and ensure requirements traceability and compliance
- Support
system integration, testing, and verification/validation activities across
the lifecycle, including environments leveraging DRT, NiFi, ONEROOF,
DARKQUEST, and FORNSAT
- Provide
technical leadership and cross-functional coordination, including
participation in design reviews, CCBs, and program reviews
- Interface
with Government stakeholders to address technical issues, risks, system
performance, and lifecycle sustainment, including C&A support
Requirements
- Fourteen
(14) years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope,
type, and complexity is required
- Bachelor's
degree in systems engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems,
Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an
accredited college or university is required
-Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
Skills Required
- Active and current TS/SCI clearance with MD Polygraph (no CCAs accepted)
- Fourteen years experience as a Systems Engineer on programs of similar scope and complexity
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline (or five additional years SE experience instead)
- Experience administering, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux and Windows systems for RF/collection platforms
- Experience with DRT, NiFi, ONEROOF, DARKQUEST, and FORNSAT technologies/environments
- Knowledge of DoDAF and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) frameworks for system design and integration
- Ability to develop and maintain systems engineering documentation (SEPs, ICDs, requirements specs) and ensure requirements traceability
- Experience supporting system integration, test, verification and validation activities and C&A support
- Experience interfacing with Government stakeholders and providing technical leadership in design reviews and CCBs
