Supports the design, development, integration, and verification of aerospace systems. Performs system safety analyses, evaluates designs against customer and product requirements, identifies hazardous materials, contributes to system safety plans, resolves customer issues, and presents analysis updates. As a Systems Engineer I here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will contribute to the design, development, and integration of aerospace systems, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and safety standards. You will support project teams by applying engineering principles to solve complex technical challenges in aerospace applications.

You will report directly to our leadership team and you’ll work out of our Clearwater, FL location on a hybrid work schedule.

Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.

In this role, you will impact the successful delivery of aerospace systems by collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting system requirements definition, and assisting in the verification and validation of system designs that enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate new designs through System Safety Analysis
  • Ensure compliance with product and customer requirements
  • Identify hazardous materials within system designs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete a System Safety Program Plan
  • Resolve customer issues and respond to comments
  • Discuss status and present updates of analysis to customers
Qualifications

MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements
