The Systems Engineer is responsible for the design, administration, optimization, and security of server, virtualization, and cloud environments. This role ensures system stability, performance, and scalability while supporting both project-based implementations and ongoing operational needs.
Systems Administration & Infrastructure
- Manage Windows and Linux server environments.
- Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
- Maintain virtualization platforms including VMware and Hyper-V.
Cloud & Hybrid Environments
- Support Azure and Microsoft 365 platforms.
- Assist with cloud migrations and hybrid infrastructure deployments.
- Implement identity, access, and security configurations.
Operations & Optimization
- Monitor system performance, reliability, and patching.
- Troubleshoot escalated system and server issues.
- Improve automation, backup strategies, and disaster recovery planning.
Documentation & Process Improvement
- Maintain system documentation and configuration standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve performance, security, and scalability.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of systems engineering or administration experience
- Strong Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization knowledge
- Experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, and backup solutions
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and time-management skills

Skills Required
- 3-5+ years of systems engineering or administration experience
- Strong Windows Server knowledge
- Experience managing Linux server environments

Klik Solutions was founded by Arthur Olshansky and Neil Konstantoulas in May of 2012. At that time, we were known as Federal Hill Solutions (leveraging the name of a great neighborhood in South Baltimore). From data backup and data protection services to becoming a Managed IT Services Provider, we now offer a full range of IT solutions to our customers. This includes technology support, Cloud, Security, and Help Desk. We’ve also grown by partnering with JetStor, Zadara, Sophos, HPE Aruba, Cisco, Dell, Lenovo, Microsoft, Molnii, and Veeam. Now we service hundreds of clients. We have completed complex infrastructure-related projects for some of the most recognized organizations up and down the east coast of the country. We provide managed IT services to a diverse group of clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond.
