Job Summary:

IT Corporate Web Services team is responsible for the implementation, development and support of multiple corporate wide systems including our ongoing AI based initiatives, our external Websites and Intranet. We partner and collaborate with the systems infrastructure and information security teams to ensure high service level and systems availability are provided to our internal corporate divisions.

Job Duties:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled IT professional with expertise in implementing and onboarding Generative/ Traditional AI use cases to join HKEX to fill the position of Assistant Vice President- Application Implementation Specialist in IT Corporate Web Services team. As an IT Application Implementation Specialist, you will play a vital role in driving the successful deployment and integration of Generative/ Traditional AI solutions across HKEX.

Job Responsibilities:

• Generative AI Implementation: Lead and oversee the implementation of Generative AI use cases including natural language processing and computer vision, leveraging your experience and knowledge in this domain. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, develop implementation plans, and execute end-to-end implementation lifecycles.

• Technical Expertise: Provide expert guidance and support in designing, developing, and implementing Generative AI solutions, prompt engineering strategies to guide the foundation model's behavior and generate desired outputs. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify and evaluate suitable foundation models for fine-tuning. Optimize and enhance generative AI models for scalability, speed, and resource efficiency. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to Generative AI, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and optimize implementation approaches.

• Project Management: Take ownership of project management activities, including project planning, resource allocation, timeline management, risk assessment, and issue resolution. Monitor project progress, ensure adherence to project milestones, and effectively communicate project updates to stakeholders.

• Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product vendors, and other IT teams to gather requirements, define solution architectures, and ensure smooth integration into existing IT systems. Build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide regular updates on project status

and deliverables.

• Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of solutions. Identify and address any issues or bottlenecks that may arise during the implementation process.

• Documentation and Training: Create detailed technical documentation, user guides, and training materials to facilitate knowledge transfer and enable end-users to effectively leverage solutions. Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate users on the functionalities and benefits of the implemented solutions.

• Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization. Contribute to the development of best practices, standards, and frameworks to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of future implementations.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Experience: Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in IT application implementation.

• Generative AI Expertise: Strong proficiency in generative AI models, deep learning frameworks, and expertise in leading end-to-end implementation of generative AI solutions. In-depth knowledge of prompt engineering techniques to shape and control model outputs. Experience in fine-tuning language models. Knowledge of model deployment and efficiency optimization.

• Technical Skills: Familiarity and understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Alibab, GCP) and knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is desirable.

• Analytical Thinking: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements, identify potential challenges, and devise innovative solutions.
