About the Role
CIYIS is seeking an experienced Systems Architect / Digital Engineering Architect to support enterprise Digital Engineering, MBSE, Digital Thread, architecture modernization, repository integration, and engineering transformation initiatives.
The ideal candidate is capable of designing, implementing, and governing future-state engineering ecosystems that connect requirements, models, engineering data, testing, manufacturing, sustainment, analytics, and operational outcomes into a unified Digital Engineering environment.
This role combines enterprise architecture, systems engineering, technical leadership, solution design, stakeholder engagement, and modernization planning responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise and solution architectures.
- Design Digital Thread and interoperability strategies.
- Support MBSE and Digital Engineering initiatives.
- Develop modernization roadmaps and future-state architectures.
- Define standards-based integration frameworks and API strategies.
- Support architecture governance and technical review boards.
- Evaluate engineering tools, cloud platforms, and emerging technologies.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and requirements sessions.
- Develop technical architecture deliverables and recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of systems architecture experience.
- Experience supporting Digital Engineering initiatives.
- Experience with Enterprise Architecture and Systems Engineering.
- Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, or product development organizations.
- Knowledge of Digital Thread and lifecycle traceability concepts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
