Your Opportunity:
Full time position reporting to the Chief Marketing and Operations Officer. As a Systems and Network Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining MyBambu's Information Technology (IT) infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. This role involves monitoring and troubleshooting system performance, implementing and updating IT policies and procedures, managing user accounts, and ensuring the overall integrity and security of the company's network and systems. You will also support the tech team in deploying and configuring hardware and software, as well as responding to and resolving technical issues promptly.
Job Responsibilities:
Systems Management:
- Oversee and manage IT systems, including user accounts, permissions, and access to various applications.
- Provide general support and troubleshooting for system-related issues.
- Ensure regular maintenance and updates of IT systems.
Network Administration:
- Maintain and monitor network infrastructure to ensure smooth and secure operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any network-related issues.
- Support the configuration and management of network devices.
Technical Support:
- Provide technical assistance to users across the organization.
- Help with the setup and configuration of hardware and software.
- Maintain documentation and guides for common IT procedures.
Platform Administration:
- Manage and support key business platforms, ensuring they meet organizational needs.
- Assist users with platform-related inquiries and maintain data accuracy.
- Support integrations between platforms and other systems.
Security and Compliance:
- Ensure IT systems adhere to security policies and compliance standards.
- Monitor systems for potential security issues and respond as necessary.
- Implement security measures to protect data and systems.
Team Collaboration:
- Work with other teams to support IT-related projects and initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and training to users on best practices for IT systems.
Skill and Abilities:
- Analytical Thinking:Strong analytical skills to identify patterns and determine the appropriate response to potential issues and creating automated process.
- Attention to Detail:Keen attention to detail to accurately identify vulnerabilities and potential security risks.
- Problem-Solving:Ability to think critically and solve problems in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Communication:Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey security issues and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Technical Proficiency:Familiarity with systems, networking tools and technologies, such as SIEM systems, Office365, Azure, firewalls, and MDM.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with other Tech and security professionals to achieve common goals.
- Adaptability:Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, methods, and challenges in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
- Integrity:High level of professionalism, ethics, and discretion in handling sensitive security information.
Job Requirements:
- Bilingual proficiency Spanish and English, preferred.
- Five (5) year of System Administration, IT security, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in cyber security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Pursuing or holding certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Server+, AZ-104, CCNA, VCP-DCV.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
