Job Summary
The primary role of the System Administrator is to manage and support mission-critical IT infrastructure. This role involves day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance across Windows and UNIX systems. You’ll work directly with both hardware and software systems in a dynamic, multi-platform environment.
Position Responsibilities:
Provide Tier I and II IT support and problem resolution.
Manage client/server/storage/network infrastructure.
Configure and manage RedHat Linux and Windows systems.
Support vulnerability management using Nessus.
Handle STE/STN scoring and documentation.
Maintain POA&Ms and patch systems based on security and functional parameters.
Collaborate with hardware vendors on system specs and refreshes.
Analyze escalated issues and provide actionable feedback.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computuer Engineering, or related field is required or equivalent combination of education, and experience
Minimum 10+ years of system administration experience
Strong RedHat Linux and Windows (2012/2016/2019) troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with Nessus, POA&Ms, and STE/STN initiatives.
Experience configuring UNIX and Windows environments.
An active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Other Qualification & Desired Competencies:
Experience with virtual environments and system capacity planning.
Salary Range: $150,000 - $175,000

What We Do
