What You’ll Do:
As a Systems Administrator, you will manage, maintain, and optimize the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, computer systems, and network components. This role ensures high availability, security, and efficient operation of hardware and software systems, while providing technical support and troubleshooting.
What We’re Looking For:
- Monitor and maintain servers, workstations, and network devices to ensure smooth operation.
- Install, configure, and update software and hardware as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues related to systems, networks, and user devices.
- Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Support network connectivity, network troubleshooting.
- Perform regular system backups and assist in disaster recovery processes.
- Ensure security best practices are followed, including patch management and antivirus updates.
- Document IT procedures, configurations, and incidents.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement improvements and upgrades.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education & Experience
- College degree, associate degree, or diploma in IT or Networking.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in system administration or IT support roles.
- Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with:
- Windows operating systems (workstations and servers).
- Networking concepts and troubleshooting.
- Server and workstation hardware.
- Familiarity with:
- System monitoring, backups, and recovery tasks.
- Remote access tools (e.g., Remote Desktop).
- Microsoft and Google systems.
- Backup and recovery tools.
- File transfer tools (e.g., FileZilla).
- Security tools (e.g., antivirus software, firewall management utilities).
- VoIP systems.
- Basic scripting skills in PowerShell for automation tasks will be considered an advantage.
