Job Description
Integra is a financial and economic consulting firm that exists to restore integrity to the financial system through forensic data analytics. We work with government agencies and law firms in their efforts to combat a wide array of financial fraud, in areas ranging from securities to healthcare to crypto assets. We are looking for strong candidates with experience managing hybrid IT environments (on-site, datacenter, and cloud), including Mac and Windows workstations, file/application servers, MDM, and cloud services. The ideal candidate should be familiar with large-scale data processing/storage systems and comfortable working under stringent government security requirements.
Main Responsibilities
Server Management:
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers (both physical and virtual).
- Monitor server performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventative maintenance.
- Manage server backups, disaster recovery, and security updates.
Workstation Management and End User Support:
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows and Mac workstations.
- Manage mobile device policies and applications.
- Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues.
- Manage user accounts and access permissions.
Cloud Services Management:
- Administer Microsoft 365 GCC and Google Workspace environments, including user management, security, and application support; provide support for other cloud platforms if needed.
- Ensure data integrity and security within cloud platforms.
- Manage and maintain cloud based backups.
Network Administration:
- Assist with network troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Manage and maintain network security.
Security and Compliance:
- Implement and maintain security policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and contractual obligations.
- Maintain up to date documentation.
Administration and Other:
- Create and maintain accurate documentation of systems, procedures, and configurations.
- Coordinate IT policies and procedures, e.g., incident response, backups and recovery
- Other tasks to help project teams, e.g., assisting with data life cycle, e.g., proper ingestion, organization, removal, etc., subject to company needs and applicant’s skills
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2 years of experience in IT or systems administration
- U.S. Citizenship
- Experience with or certification in:
- Windows server administration, Active Directory Management, Group Policy Management
- Windows or MacOS workstation configuration, maintenance, and administration
- Microsoft 365, Microsoft 365 GCC, and/or Google Workspace administration
- Mobile Device Management (MDM) administration for workstations and phones
- Networking and Firewall administration
- System log analysis & Review, SIEM administration
- Understanding of IT security best practices and NIST CSF Controls
- Understanding of Cybersecurity Incident Response and system monitoring
- Experience with scripting/automation using Python, Bash, and/or Powershell
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience
- Experience in systems administration for government contractors
- Experience with systems covered under one or more of: NIST 800-53, SOC2, HIPAA, CMMC
- Industry Certifications (e.g., CompTIA) in Cybersecurity, Networking, or other relevant areas
- Experience maintaining database systems and user Python environments
