Our awesome team has capitalized on the surge in demand for technology that’s been occurring in the past few years and has been expanding rapidly. We are looking to bolster our ranks with technically inclined team members who are well-versed in customer service to keep up with the rate at which we are growing.
How this Role Delivers Technolojoy
The role of the Systems Administrator (Projects) is to assist with project delivery by performing and completing technical project tickets and deliverables. Depending on the size, complexity and nature of the project, you may be required to manage the sequence and schedule of project tasks or be required to work with a Project Coordinator as part of a delivery team.
Some common examples of typical projects include the implementation of Microsoft 365 cloud services, the deployment of VoIP phone systems, and the installation and configuration of server and networking hardware.
The typical hours are Monday to Friday from 8 AM – 5 PM.
This position will be based in any of our locations - Kamloops, Prince George, Terrace, or Kelowna

The role of the Systems Administrator (Projects) is to deliver a Category of One experience with project scope and delivery. This includes working with our clients to gain a complete understanding of requirements and goals through discovering, scoping and finally delivering a completed project. This role works closely with Project Coordinator, Technical Analyst, and Business Development teams to deliver exceptional projects custom built to serve our clients needs. Our ideal candidate already has experience scoping and delivering some of the following projects
- Email migration (Exchange Online)
- Physical/virtual server migration (Hyper-V, ESXI, Azure, Windows Server)
- Physical network hardware refresh (Aruba, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- VoIP phone system migration (Teams, 3CX, RingCentral)
- MDM deployment (Intune, Jamf, Meraki, Hexnode, Apple Business Manager)
- Hardware replacement (Networks, Servers, Parts)
- Phishing Campaigns
- Conference Rooms (Logitech)
- M365 Entra (Conditional Access, Compliance Policy, Hardening, MFA)
Key Accountabilities:
- Work with clients to gather and analyze requirements to design standard technical solutions
- Take primary responsibility for planning, execution, and monitoring of standard technical projects to ensure they meet objectives and deadlines
- Create a statement of work detailing the necessary items and identify potential change orders and scope creep
- Create and adhere to the project execution plan
- Complete assigned projects with accurate time and note tracking
- Provide regular progress updates to all stakeholders
- Assist the service team with service escalations and support as required
- Adhere to existing standards and methods in documentation
- Assist with project tasks as directed by Project Coordinators or Supervisors
- Utilize industry best practices throughout project lifecycles
- Pursue continuous self-improvement through workshops, certifications, or job shadows
- Provide exceptional customer service to all clients and prospective clients
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of customer service experience working with end users or clients
- Minimum 3 year of information technology (IT) in a tier-2 or tier-3 Technical Service Position
- Degree or technical diploma having a 2-year term within the field of Computer Science, Computer Systems Administration or equivalent from an accredited certification process.
- Experience with server virtualization through Hyper-V required
- Experience with Microsoft 365 cloud platforms is required
- Experience with networking, next-generation security appliances, wired and wireless infrastructure is required
- Microsoft certifications for Windows desktop, server and cloud infrastructure are an asset
- Network stack certifications, such as Cisco, Meraki, HPE Aruba or Palo Alto Networks are an asset
- Positive, solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office platforms, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, and Project is preferred
- Ability to work as part of a team, and to work collaboratively with business development, account management, project coordination and project delivery roles
- Exceptional ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships within all levels of the organization
- Well-established time-management, organizational and prioritization skills
- Exceptional ability to listen, communicate and collaborate
- Legally allowed to work in Canada
- Successful completion of a Criminal Background Check
- Class 5/7 Driver’s license
- Clean driving record, driver’s abstract and claims history letter
