Provide hands-on implementation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and daily operations for IT systems and infrastructure. Manage client/server/storage/network devices, mobile endpoints, and OS environments (UNIX/Windows/Linux). Deliver Tier I and Tier II support, escalate status to management, resolve hardware/software issues, and support installation/maintenance of Cisco routers and switches.

Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.
 
 

Required:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph
  • This position is open to multiple levels of years of experience; two (02) years within the last five (05) years must be directly related to the job you are applying for:
  • Level 03 requires a minimum fifteen (15) years of direct/relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Five (05) years of additional Systems Administration experience on projects with similar processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.
  • Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
  • Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
  • Provides Tier I (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
  • Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
  • Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problem and remains involved in the resolution process.
  • Configures and manages UN1X and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
  • Support installation and maintenance of Cisco routers and switches in support of enterprise systems for the program

  • Support installation and maintenance of Cisco routers and switches
  • Proficiency with Linux distributions (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, Fedora, Mandriva, Kali) and Solaris
