About the Role

The Systems Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of managing the company software, hardware, and networks. Systems Administrator I will provide end-user IT support, SaaS administration and management, network and firewall configuration and management, server administration, hardware and software troubleshooting and maintenance. As well as finding technical or operational solutions for any security or workflow issues as they arise. 

This role is located on-site 4 days a week at either our headquarters in New York City or Jersey City, NJ office. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Monitor performance and maintain systems, as well as troubleshoot issues and outages
  • Provide end-user IT support and SaaS administration and management
  • Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
  • Provisioning and deprovisioning of user and service account access to all MoneyLion systems and ensuring this is completed in a timely and accurate manner 
  • Monitors systems associated with Identity and Access Management solutions; provides incident and problem management support
  • Proactively works with technology and product managers to identify potential issues and ensures effective remediation
  • Install and configure computer systems, diagnosing hardware and software faults and solve technical and applications problems, either over the phone or in person. Ability to replace hardware as required.
  • Work with department heads to develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.
  • Assist in defining and implementing IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Involvement in projects as needed as determined by the scope and related to the job function.

About You

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business, Communications or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years experience within an IT Operations role
  • Proficiency in managing Networks, Firewalls, and VPN (preferably Cisco Meraki)
  • Proficiency in managing SAN and NAS Servers. (preferably QNAP and Quantum StorNext)
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, and fixing both macOS and Windows workstations and servers
  • Proficiency in managing users, services, and security credentials via admin accounts
  • Knowledge of powershell and macOS Terminal
  • Working Linux knowledge, esxi, Windows servers and Active Directory
  • Ability to respond to requests quickly and troubleshoot creatively and efficiently. Ability to provide technical support to end users
  • Must have a strong attention to detail, and work well with others
  • Familiarity with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 controls is a plus
  • Available to work occasional nights and weekends when needed

  • Familiarity with Jira Software and Jira Service Management

The annual base salary for the Systems Administrator expected to be between $70,000 to $100,000. Base salary is one component of MoneyLion's total compensation package, which includes, 401(k) match, multiple health insurance options, disability coverage, life insurance, and unlimited paid time off for salaried positions. Actual salaries will vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies related to the role.
