Systems Administrator (Corporate IT)

As a Systems Administrator, you will play a critical role in designing, deploying, and maintaining IT infrastructure across the firm, with a strong focus on desktop systems, corporate services, and office equipment. Your responsibilities will include help-desk support, ticket tracking, and endpoint management, ensuring seamless operations across Mac, Windows, and backend Linux environments. As a member of the Corp-IT team, you will support the growth of our software, research, and financial operations teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality user support for our US office and international employees.
• Quickly and efficiently resolve issues on employee laptops (Mac and Windows OS).
• Administer and maintain enterprise endpoint management/deployment suite.
• Perform Windows server administration and Office 365 management.
• Manage technical and hardware onboarding of new users (including creating user accounts, setting up new laptops, and required accessories).
• Handle maintenance of US office conference rooms.
• Route and respond to support tickets quickly and efficiently.
• Take on special project work for our Systems and IT teams.

Requirements

• Expert-level knowledge of Office 365 and Azure AD (including solid experience with Intune, SSO, and Security).
• Strong knowledge and administration experience with Mac and iOS systems (ideally with Jamf Pro, and via the command line).
• Strong knowledge in administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Windows Server (2016-2022) and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with backup solutions (preferably Veeam).
• Working knowledge of networking services and protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, SSH, SMTP.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Creative thinking and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused and service-oriented, with the ability to work in a team environment.
• Able to work independently with little supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Scripting in Python and/or Bash
• Experience with Atlassian products (Jira/Confluence)
• Familiarity with Ansible on Linux and Mac and/or Apple DEP and VPP
• Experience in a Linux environment
• Proclivity for open-source
• LDAP and/or IAM solution sets
• Systems infrastructure design
• Project management

Compensation

The base salary for this position is $125,000 to $145,000 in the location(s) of this posting. Individual salaries are determined through a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. Base salary does not include other forms of total compensation, such as bonus compensation and other benefits. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D insurance, 20 days of paid time off, 9 sick days, and a 401(k) plan with a company match.
