Systems Administrator (1+ years of Linux Admin exp)

***Weekly Schedule for this role***
***Wednesday - Saturday, 10 hours per day
***Wednesday and Thursday - flexible on what time you work

***Friday and Saturday, 2p - 12p EST (open to any time zone in the US)

Bullhorn is looking for a problem-solving systems focused technologist to become our next Systems Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting Bullhorn’s production environment, while ensuring 24/7 product availability. You will also be responsible in some part to build, implement, and manage product solutions for Bullhorn’s production environment.

As a Systems Administrator I, you will:

• Monitor and maintain all production system equipment and services

• Ensure 24/7 availability of the production application environment. This will include 24/7 on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis.

• Document technical environments, processes and procedures, testing plans, project plans.

• Provide direct support to Software Development, Quality Engineering, Customer Support, Professional Services and third party vendors as needed to resolve production problems

• Maintain network and systems configurations for national and international data centers.

• Participate in the planning and execution of new product deployment and enhancement projects, ensuring preparedness in servicing the product

As a Systems Administrator I, You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.

• 1 to 3 years total experience with systems administration, as well as hardware and software troubleshooting

• Knowledge of Linux (Debian, CentOS/Redhat)

• Windows server experience

• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, network devices such as switches, hubs, routers, firewalls

• Previous experience in a SaaS and/or high volume website environment preferred

Bonus points for:

• LDAP/Kerberos authentication against Microsoft Active Directory

• SAN and NAS technologies (iSCSI, FCP, CIFS, NFS, etc)

• Proficiency in Log Management with ELK, Splunk, Sumo Logic, or equivalent

• Previous on-call experience

• Puppet/CFEngine/Ansible Experience

• Experience in managing containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes and HELM)

• Exposure to one or more of AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Powershell, Bash

• Experience with operating infrastructure which supports Java or .NET based applications
