System Tester

A3 Technology, Inc. is seeking a System Tester to join our Test and Integration team in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. 

Essential Job Functions:

• Possess knowledge of internet protocols and communication protocols such as TDM and IP.
• Provide expertise in the development and improvement of developmental and operational testing processes.
• Must be familiar troubleshooting legacy communication circuits utilizing application web screen toolsets, to remote sensor-side interfaces.
• Must be familiar with cross-browser toolsets.  
• Linux skills are recommended.
  
• Work with specialists from other disciplines such as hardware, software, logistic support, and testing to produce fully integrated and responsive components and systems. 
• Interpret and analyze complex information systems data to develop technical documentation, system diagrams, and presentation materials.
  
• Provide 2nd level engineering support for ADAS (AWOS Data Acquisition System).
• Troubleshoot legacy serial connection circuit issues.
• Troubleshoot issues with protocol converters.
• Provide support for weather systems connectivity to ADAS, including TDM-IP cutover support.
• Follow documented specific steps to successfully complete cutovers to IP over LTE, from legacy TDM circuits.
  
• Execute test cases and develop test reports. 
• Provide clear and concise documentation.
• Identify and document defects, bugs and inconsistencies during test execution.
• Participate in system test and key site test activities as a tester.
  
• May be tasked to support other systems within AJW-171.
• Must be willing to travel. On call 24x7 for site support.
  

• Full-time position, standard work hours.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Required:

• Technical understanding of systems, databases, networking, and computing environments.
• Knowledge of server operations, data communications and systems analysis.
• Familiarity with Linux.
• Willing to learn on the job and self-motivated. 
• Take ownership of various initiatives from varying stakeholders.
• Coordinate various remote sites to install equipment.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of networking, cloud computing and enterprise system architecture.
• Familiarity of NAS Technical Operations.
• Understanding of programming concepts for writing test scripts.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Math and 12 years related experience OR
• Master's degree in Computer Science or Math and 9 years related experience.

Additionally, US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US is a must. Upon receiving a conditional offer of employment, candidates will undergo a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for Government clearance. Verification of past employment, education and references is also required. It is imperative that candidates be either a US citizen or a current green card holder with the last 3 consecutive years as a resident of the US.

The salary range for positions is $50,000 to $175,000. This range is provided as a general guideline and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of compensation. Actual salary offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the specific responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. In addition, compensation may be influenced by applicable Federal Government contract labor categories and established contract wage rates.
