Job Responsibilities :We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused System Support Specialist to ensure the stability, reliability, and seamless performance of our business-critical systems. This role involves proactive monitoring, in-depth technical troubleshooting, and comprehensive integration support.As a System Support Specialist, you will manage complex merchant issues, deliver day-to-day (BAU) support, and maintain smooth connectivity across integrated platforms. You will also act as a vital link between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, driving effective collaboration and clear communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Document support activities, incident resolutions, and system changes.
- Generate reports on system performance, incident trends, and support metrics.
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to payment gateway services, merchant integrations, web applications, and backend scripts.
- Debug and analyze scripts written in PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, jQuery, Vue.js, MySQL, and MariaDB, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation for integration processes and configurations.
- Guide merchants through technical integration, ensuring smooth onboarding and proper usage of APIs and SDKs.
- Troubleshoot merchant-reported issues, including API calls, scripts, and payment processing errors, and provide technical expertise to resolve integration roadblocks for successful deployments.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Must be able to work at the i-City Shah Alam office.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a System Support Specialist or in a related role.
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple support tasks, incidents, and projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
