Job Title: System Performance Engineer
Location: Rochester, NY. Hybrid (3 days in office/week)
Expected duration: Long term
Description:
- Must have a work experience in RF Optimization for LTE/VoLTE/ 5G (Samsung [UXM] preferred)
- Must have a minimum of 2-years of working experience in 5G RF optimization projects and/or 5G RF design (C-band & mmWave preferred)
- Knowledge in RF Optimization Layer 3 analysis experience using tools Cluster Optimization, providing recommendations to improve coverage, mobility, traffic management, throughput, etc Experience with Multi-Layer Cluster Optimization including 5G/LTE/UMTS
- Network performance problem detection and solution methods, e.g., throughput issues, drop call rates, access/rach failures etc
- Knowledge of running traces for troubleshooting/analysis
- Knowledge of the various drive testing equipment such as DMAT,TEMS, X-CAL, XCAP, Windcatcher
