Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration
- Three (3) years of experience in procurement/supply in manufacturing and/or distribution
- Two (2) years of experience in a management / supervisory role
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- ERP system experience; Infor or Workday preferred
Essential Job Functions: In addition to the essential functions of the job listed below, employees must have on-time completion of all required education as assigned per DNV requirements, Bozeman Health policy, and other registry requirements.
- Assists Director with broad operations to ensure the provision of comprehensive departmental services in compliance with all regulatory agencies and healthcare system requirements.
- Manages designated day-to-day supply chain activities including setting PAR levels, reviewing high/low usage reports, continuous improvement with department PAR carts, implementing improvement plans as identified through observation and/or data, annual physical inventory.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional procurement team, fostering alignment with corporate goals, compliance, and industry best practices.
- Ensures a collaborative departmental approach to long-range strategic operational planning, care and service design and development of organizational policies, which reflect the mission of the organization.
- Drive the development KPIs and metrics, developing and implementing tools, systems, and processes to track and improve performance, cost savings and ensuring goals and GPO objectives are met.
- Ensure timely, accurate planning strategies for production, materials, and inventory control, including capacity planning, to maximize resource utilization, minimize overtime, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Manages relationships with vendors by acting as the primary point of contact for their activities including forecasting, material availability, prioritization, supply timing, and business reviews.
- Management of materials inventory levels to meet inventory turns goals/objectives and inventory accuracy to meet goals/objectives, including minimization of excess and obsolete inventory.
- Executes supply chain activities including forecasting, procurement, production planning, capacity planning, and supply planning.
- Implements internal controls and reporting to track and ensure compliance with BH policies and procedures and DNV and other relevant regulations in all procurement and supply chain activities.
