You define the scope and work breakdown for the domain architecture of a single product or multiple products within a small set of MDUs (<10) or a small NPI (typically <100 FTE) and drive the domain vision for the product(s) you own. You align across Foundation Heads of Domain, System Engineering, and the MDUs in scope, balancing domain aspects across all relevant modules to ensure overall product performance. You take an initiating role in innovations within your domain and translate customer questions related to your domain into clear, actionable architectural direction within the product.

  • MSc or PhD preferred in relevant technical field.

  • Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in defining and realizing an architecture within the relevant Domain.

  • Experience in different sub-systems or different business lines, as Domain Architect responsible for a function.

  • Proven ability to make sound decisions in ambiguous situations where scale and scope are not fully defined.

  • Naturally associated with the domain within a product. Widely recognized by others to get technical direction within the product.

  • Technical leader with seniority within the domain and high impact on technical domain decision within the product.
