Position Description :

  • The products which SYDE shall own include Inverter, boost, DCDC and OBC and other Xin1 high voltage products
  • Implement stakeholder requirement analysis and define system requirement specification including functions, performance goals, boundaries, application or even system strategies.
  • Transmit system requirement specifications to SW/eHW engineering team and bring all engineering competencies into one technical and project information page.
  • Further study eHW and SW architecture and design schemes, analyze and identify the gap between system requirements and products and try to find possible solutions to improve products performance.
  • Responsible for high voltage product trouble-shooting and issue-solving. Own or coordinate with other competencies to find root cause and solve development, manufacture or production related issues.
  • Support e-hardware and software to implement requirement and scheme design.
  • Support definition of the System Integration and Qualification test cases if needed.
  • Provide timely updates to the SYPL and line manager on the status of all system design-related topics.
  • Prepare system design deliverables and support the execution of Gate Reviews.
  • Prepare technical deliverables and materials for milestone review meetings.
  • Follow Requirement management EDF and ASPICE process.
  • Follow BorgWarner issue management process.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree and major in power electrification and electronics or automation domain
  • 3+ years of power electronics develop experience on system/software/EE design.
  • Proficient in power electronics especially inverter products.
  • Proficient in vehicle or bench issue trouble-shooting.
  • Familiar with hardware design and verify process.
  • Familiar with ASPICE/EDF development process.
  • Familiar with engineering tools like Vector CANalyzer/CANoe/CANape.
  • Clear mind and excellent communication skills.
  • Good writing & oral English.
  • Good time management skills and prioritization abilities.
  • Able to work under pressure.
