Job Description 5 - 10 years of experience in a System Administrator role
Bachelor degree or equivalent in computer science or a technology field
Must have hands-on expertise with Windows 2003, 2008 & 2012 operating systems
Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO
Windows Services Support including remote desktop services, clustering services and DFS
Citrix CCA certification (or equivalent years of experience)
Experience with Microsoft Exchange Server 2013
Experience with VMware ESXi
VCP nice to have
Knowledge of mass storage platforms
Capable of troubleshooting complex technical problems
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Work well under pressure in a busy environment
Excellent attention to detail
Team player
QualificationsProvide administration\management\support in a specialized area across multiple datacenters and lab/dev/test/prod environments, ie. VMWare – Support & Maintain VMWare 5.X enterprise infrastructure, ie. Microsoft Server – Support & Maintain Windows 2008/2012 Server and client infrastructure
Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure /add new services as necessary
Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning
Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required
Maintain data center environment and monitoring equipment
Provide technical support for system issues
Work with the ITSM Coordinator for notifications regarding system-wide outages
