Job Description:
 
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Systems Administrator to manage and optimize our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in system administration, cloud infrastructure, with a focus on automating deployment processes and ensuring system reliability. As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining operational excellence across diverse environments, implementing policies and procedures to ensure system provisioning and maintenance consistent with company goals.
 
 

Responsibilities

    1.Acts as a technical backup to the Information Systems & Cybersecurity Program Manager.
    2. Provides user support, as needed, investigate and troubleshoot
    3.Performs account setup and system upgrades following new releases.
    4.Maintains an inventory of hardware and software for the organization and adherence to the hardware and software lifecycle policy.
    5.In collaboration with the supervisor, configures and manages company Intranet via Sharepoint.
    6.Manages following critical Security applications, such as: Office 365 Administration, Microsoft Sharepoint
    7.Management of Firewall policies through collaborating with MSP and MSSP
    8.Endpoint Protection & Application Patching
    9.OKTA Identity Management System
    10.Supervises IT projects and participants, if applicable
    11.Participates in Network & Telecommunication Management through our MSP
    12.Participates in quality assurance activities and meets established QA deadlines
    13.Any other assigned duties

Qualifications

  • 1.Systems Administration/Systems Engineer certification in Microsoft or related other professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA A+ is preferable
  •  
  • 2.At least 2 years experience working as a Systems Administrator
  •  
  • 3.Familiarity with virtual infrastructure including VMware, ESXi, VCenter,
  •  
  • 4.Experience working Azure and Office 365, MS Exchange, MS Server
  •  
  • 5.Knowledge of Wide Area Network (WAN), Local Area Network (LAN) as well as several types of servers like mail servers, file servers, etc
  •  
  • 6.Experience in designing, implementing and managing Microsoft Active Directory
  •  
  • 7.PowerShell scripting experience is a plus
  •  
  • 8.Strong decision making skills. Judgement errors can affect the organization's operational efficiency.
  •  
  • 9.Strong communication skills are necessary.
  •  
  • 10.Responsibilities sometimes require working with little advanced notice
  •  
  • 11.Ability to independently manage multiple projects and see them to completion on schedule.
  •  
  • 12.Occasional travel required t other sites.
  •  
  • 13. Responsibilities sometimes require you to be able to function with limited supervision.

    System administration: 3 years (Required)

    Microsoft Exchange: 2 years (Preferred)

  • Three years of systems administration experience
