Job Summary
The Systems Administrator is a critical technical role responsible for managing and optimizing our internal IT systems, security infrastructure, and automation processes. You will oversee the entire technology stack, implement automations, support Level 1 and Level 2 teams, and maintain the security and efficiency of client-facing and internal systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced MSP environment and is eager to contribute to innovative IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage internal technology systems including RMM, PSA, EDR, SIEM, DNS filtering, ITDR, application whitelisting, and RPA platforms
Develop, optimize, and document automation workflows to improve operational efficiency
Serve as the technical escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 support teams
Execute IT projects within timelines and budgets, coordinating across teams
Maintain robust security posture across all internal and client-facing systems
Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices
Report on technical metrics, project progress, and system performance to leadership
Requirements
3–5 years of hands-on experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
Strong expertise in RMM and PSA platforms, enterprise security tools, and automation platforms
Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Proven project management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to thorough documentation
Willingness to learn and adopt new tools, particularly RPA and AI-based automation
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
Security certifications (CompTIA Security+, Microsoft, or vendor-specific)
Background in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
ITIL or project management certifications
Exposure to AI/ML tools and automation governance frameworks
