MicroHealth is seeking a System Administrator Level IV to support our client and team. As a System Administrator IV you will manage the daily activities of configuration and operations of business systems that may be mainframe, mini, or client/server based. Optimizes system operation and resource utilization and performs system capacity analysis and planning. Provide support to users in accessing and using business system at the Defense Health Headquarters (DHHQ) in Fort Sam Houston, TX.
**This is a Planned Position.
Security Clearance Level: Secret
Essential Functions:
- High level knowledge and experience in current Windows client server to include OS configuration, file sharing, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory.
- Experience with administration of various Linux operating systems including CentOS, Ubuntu.
- Will assist with desktop support.
- Assist with optimize system operations and resource utilization.
- Coordinate, deliver, install, and maintain end user devices hardware and software.
- Implement ongoing system security compliance measures to include patches and system updates.
- Expert knowledge and demonstrated experience and its implementation using VMware vSphere and Horizon View.
- Experience working in an Enclave environment.
- Expert knowledge and experience managing NetApp and Dell EqualLogic.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree and/or equivalency
- Experience:
- Eight (8) years of progressive experience (with Masters)
- Ten (10) years of progressive experience (Bachelors)
- Twelve (12) years of progress experience (HS Diploma)
- Candidate must have one of the following DoD approved certifications to meet the category/level IAT-2 (DD 8570) requirement: Security+, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA-Security, CISA, CISSP, CASP, GCIH, or GCED.
Salary:
- $100,000-$115,0000
