Job Description

1. Tier II Level Support (3 resources)

2. Tier IV Expert

Location 

1. Tier II: New Orleans, LA

2. Tier II: Norfolk, VA

3. Tier II: Camp Lejeune, NC

4. Tier IV: Quantico, VA

Duration After 3 months may want to consider hiring the resources

Clearance required: Active DOD SECRET clearance required, Interim OK

SSBI preferred

Security+ certification needed

Detailed Task Description Assist new personnel in user familiarization and capabilities of deployed tools

Create and modify views in BSM

Create reports requested

Assist with management of operator access to views/reports.

Add/remove SNMP information for devices

Troubleshoot within the region. Identify regional assets lacking.

Build local views in Node Manager to customer requirement

Monitor Enterprise Monitoring Tier II Remedy queue and resolve incidents as able.

Monitor and maintain awareness of regional tickets and items of concern

Add/remove site specific node groups for systems

Define/Add/Remove custom site specific SNMP monitoring requirements.

Build local topology views in Node Manager to customer specifications.

Manage site-specific critical system alerts and operator recipient definitions.

GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILLS

DURATION: 6+ Months Contract (After 3 months may want to consider hiring the resources)

INTERVIEW: Telephone / Skype 

Skills Required

  • Active DoD Secret clearance (Interim accepted)
  • Security+ certification
  • SSBI
  • Experience creating and modifying views in BSM
  • Experience building topology and local views in Node Manager
  • Experience with SNMP configuration and custom SNMP monitoring
  • Experience using Remedy for incident monitoring and resolution
  • Ability to manage operator access, alerts, and recipient definitions
  • Regional troubleshooting and asset identification skills
  • Good communication skills
